Anghami and Majid Al Futtaim Join Forces: A Powerful Partnership for Mental Health Awareness

Dubai, 14 June 2023 – Anghami, the leading music and entertainment streaming platform in the MENA region, has partnered with Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia to empower well-being and reshape conversations around mental health. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in addressing the importance of mental health in society. Together, Anghami and Mall of the Emirates are committed to fostering supportive discussions and providing a platform for individuals to prioritize their mental health.

The collaboration set the stage for an offline activation at Mall of the Emirates during the first week of June, from June 6th until June 10th. The activation aimed to raise awareness around mental health and create a supportive environment where individuals shared their thoughts and stories. Additionally, a one-day private event was held in Mall of the Emirates, which featured a panel discussion with distinguished professionals, leaders, podcasters and members of the media, to further amplify the importance of mental health. 

In May, Anghami introduced “Sukoon – Your Mindful Circle“, an initiative that revolutionizes mental health discussions and promotes inclusivity and support. Sukoon provides a safe and welcoming space for individuals to engage in conversations about neglected and stigmatized topics, including Grief, Trauma, Abuse, and Burnout. Users had the unique opportunity to interact anonymously with mental health experts through the app, sharing their questions and concerns.
