“Elissa – The Podcast” the first Anghami Originals podcast

Known for her empowering, inspiring and strong personality from her early beginnings, The Queen of Emotions Elissa chose a different and unique path for her return to Anghami.

With her deep and genuine character, Elissa decided to lead and become the first arab artist to launch her own podcast. A series of episodes in which she describes stories about her life, her past and present, her experiences and most importantly her career.

“Elissa – The Podcast” will be launched Wednesday February 10, exclusively on Anghami. It includes 12 episodes – one every Wednesday – in which the star shares her childhood memories, her friendships and relationships along with the challenges she faced throughout her singing career among other topics she never disclosed.

Elissa has always been a fierce advocate of humanitarian and social causes and does not shy away from speaking her mind when it comes to sensitive topics such as mental health, women’s rights, freedom of speech, and bullying. In each episode, she shares her thoughts and views on specific topics with the aim to inspire and motivate the listeners based on her own experiences.

“I never really left Anghami. I feel that this experience will bring me closer to people especially in these times of isolation and social distancing. Better days are coming, we will go back to singing our hearts out. We will connect again via Anghami and we will get to share our thoughts and beliefs with everyone around us” Elissa shared about her new project.

“Elissa’s opinion has always mattered as much as her music – she has always been direct and vocal about her thoughts that it became a characteristic in her persona, making her one of the top influential figures locally and globally – we thank Elissa for trusting and choosing Anghami. We are confident that this project will be a success while she paves the way for a growing podcast culture in the region” stated Eddy Maroun, co-founder & CEO of Anghami.

Stay tuned for a new episode of “Elissa – The Podcast” every Wednesday exclusively on Anghami where she unveils her life stories and uncovers the human behind the artist.
